Fotojazzeando: una palabra que quizás no había sido creada, o quizás sí. Pero de cualquier manera une dos pasiones: la fotografía y el jazz. Dos excusas para poder vivir en una sociedad cruel, injusta. Y no por casualidad el jazz es la música del siglo XX y será la base fundamental de la música universal del siglo XXI. Porque no hay dudas que el jazz es el mejor lenguaje por el cual personas de todos los colores, idiomas y culturas expresan su imperiosa necesidad de vivir en libertad. Una libertad que es permanentemente reprimida, combatida, limitada. Pero que cada día gana más conciencias, más almas y más corazones. Como el jazz.
Y la fotografía es el medio de comunicación fundamental del siglo XX. Me siento privilegiado por poder expresarme a través de ella. Y de nutrirme con el arte conmovedor de esos seres humanos tan especiales, tan sensibles, llamados músicos. Y me pasaré la vida tratando de captar en ellos lo intangible. La belleza, el amor, la libertad.
En otras palabras, me pasaré la vida como hasta ahora: Fotojazzeando.

Fotojazzeando: A word not been invented or perhaps it has. Nevertheless it bonds two passions: Photography and Jazz; two justifications to be able to live in an unjust, cruel society. It is not mere chance Jazz is the music of the XXth century and will be the essential origin for the music of the XXIth. There are no doubts, Jazz is the best instrument through which people from all colors, languages and cultures express their ineludibly need to live in freedom. A freedom constantly repressed, limited, and fought against. But then, every day it gains more consciences, souls and hearts, just like Jazz. Photography is the most significant means of communication of the century. I feel privileged to express myself through it. And to nurture myself with the moving art of those human beings so special, so sensitive called musicians. I will spend my life trying to capture the intangibility in them, their beauty, love, and freedom. In other words, I will spend my life as I have done so far: Fotojazzeando.
